HEALTH AND SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS

LEGAL AND ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS

  • Copyrighted Material – Ask Permission to film on the premises
  • The majority of our targeted audience are under 16 and therefore should not be exposed to explicit imagery or language. The age rating of the broadcasted show, the limit of content is controlled; i.e portrayal of gore, swearing and sexual themes.

PROPOSED SCHEDULING TIME Daytime Television

- Pre-Watershed Regulations The Games Corner is scheduled to be shown at midday, before 9 pm and therefore the watershed. This limits what content be shown as it may be viewed by children; unsuitable material can include everything from sexual content to violence, graphic or distressing imagery and swearing. This means we have to be careful as to what we film; 2 games that would not be acceptable to show in detail at this event would be Killzone 3 and Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies, as their graphic content deems them to be rated 18 certificates.
